In this competitive and modern world of ours, to survive, we need to constantly update and adapt ourselves to the situation and the means of this change is through language. When language is so important in one's life, it makes obvious sense that literary skills, the handle of the blade, needs to be sharp and firm. Renaissance, THEPC's biweekly activity, is a bold step in sharpening the blade. Renaissance gives a "re-birth" to one's literary skills and nurtures the same. It involves reading, speaking, debating and writing thereby acheiving overall personality development of its members. Weekly sessions help in the quotient improvement about the latest happenings around the world and discussion about the same leading to culmination of thoughts. It also helps sharpen the member's speaking abilities and makes them ready to take a deep plunge into the world of corporate affairs.

Magnas was a business themed event hosted by our club during Gravitas 2015, which brought all the biz-quizzers, marketing geeks and ad experts of our university out. A team event, it pushed the participants to the extreme with nerve-wrecking questions from the business world in the first round. The scores were carried over to the next round, where the marketing skills of the participants were checked. They were given famous brands and were asked to give an idea for a product which wasn't in the given brand's domain. On top of that, they had to convince the panel of judges the reason why their product would be a success in today's market.
The event brought out about 20 people and all of them enjoyed being a part of it. It enriched the participants knowledge about business trivia and helped them understand the basics of marketing.
